ABOUT US

We have lovingly renovated the main house and cottage with an eye towards quality and detail. We make every effort to accommodate and cater to our guests every need making for a memorable vacation.

The Eastern Shore is one of Maryland’s best kept secrets. Just sixty minutes away from the hustle and bustle of Washington and Baltimore to your private vacation located a few miles outside of the city limits of downtown Cambridge, ‘The Jewel of the Eastern Shore’. Come by land, sea,or fly in to our local airport. Bring your boat, bring your horse, bring your golf clubs, and prepare yourself for a weekend or week of fun and relaxation.
This completely renovated 3600 square foot home located on a private 27 acre estate is nestled a mere 200 feet from the banks of the Choptank River. Whether you have had a full day of shopping and antiquing in nearby Easton, Oxford, or St. Michaels or are tired from a day of golf at the country club less than two miles from the home, or just lazing away the day on your private secluded beach; the sounds of the river lapping on the shoreline will gently massage your worries away as you sleep.
This century old estate offers our guests exclusive privacy unlike your typical beachgoers. Plan however to have plenty of visitors during your stay. Horns Point is abundant with wildlife. Families of deer tend to the fallen fruits in our orchard, while restless squirrels scurry collecting nuts for their long winters nap. The American bald eagles fly high above their osprey relatives, all looking for a snack to feed their brood. Venture out for an early morning walk or run on this deserted dead end back road and you may run into our masked neighbors as they make their way back to their daytime burrow or amazed by the aerobatic maneuvers of the flying Delmarva fox squirrels, or follow the rattata sound until you reach the location of a pileated woodpecker. Every morning you can witness the aerobatic maneuvers of our duck squadron as they do an early morning flyby, or the ballet performance of a flock of Canadian geese or Great Blue Herons.

The large stately trees on this property initially captivated us and then it was the privacy, broad water vistas, gorgeous moon beam rises and wonderful sunrises. The sunsets are also beautiful as the opposite shoreline glows with the setting sun.
